Welcome to MT0006 Foundations of Robotics at the Universidad de Ingenieria y Tecnologia - UTEC!
This course introduces the fundamental concepts of robotics from an analytic, mechanical, control, design, and perception perspective. The main objective is to analyze and understand robot motion in order to control robots using the adequate sensor data. The emphasis of this introductory course lies on robotic manipulators, as they constitute the basis for more complex systems. However, the principles of mobile robot motion and autonomy are also introduced.
